Environmental Charter Middle School - Gardena

Environmental Charter had two outdoor decks at their Gardena campus that were rarely used because of the sun exposure and heat. Satoh Brothers built custom shade structures over the Summer break that allowed students and teachers to enjoy the outdoor space. The shade structures are steel and wood framed, incorporate fire resistant fabric and a fire sprinkler system, and are painted in school colors. Satoh Brothers also fabricated and installed stained wood paneling in the school corridors to provide an attractive and protective surface to the walls.
